Our Natchez team, always involved in local community efforts, again displayed their enthusiasm working with the Natchez Police Department and through volunteer work with the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society. As part of their regular efforts to support our local Police, our folks led by Johhny Gaines and Liz Howard delivered product to the NPD. This has been a regular effort through the years in support of all they do for us in our community and for our location. Seen here with two members of Natchez’s Finest, Glenda Washington and Joseph Harvard our team delivered product cases for use at Headquarters.
The Humane Society is a not-for-profit focused on providing care and adoption for lost, injured, abandoned and abused animals concentrating on the Natchez and surrounding county area. While the goal is to place each pet in their “forever home,” in the interim, it takes lots of volunteer hours and our team participates. Specifically, and posted here are Tongi McQuarters and Bridget Lomasney who help at the shelter. Our employees do whatever is needed, including the necessary hugs and pampering which they thoroughly enjoy, to help the animals feel safe and secure. The shelter feeds, cleans, spays, neuters and provides the necessary medical care to these pets for the duration of their stay at the Shelter. Donations can be made to the Natchez-Adams County Animal Shelter and they have a website, if interested.
Finally, our employees donated their time recently to “Stew Pot” a local shelter that feeds the homeless in Adams County. The team packed and sent canned and dry goods, as part of the facility’s recent collection. This inter-faith project is staffed solely by volunteers and of course our team chips-in, always.
